Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has confirmed that he will be on the ballot in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during a recent public event, Kalonzo said his decision is grounded in years of service, experience, and a lifelong dedication to the people of Kenya.

He emphasized that his public record demonstrates his commitment to the nation and the achievements he has made over decades of political and public service.

“I made it clear that I will be on the ballot in 2027,” Kalonzo said. “That decision is anchored in service, experience, and a lifelong commitment to the people of Kenya.

My public record speaks for itself.” His remarks drew applause from supporters who have long followed his political journey, praising his consistency and dedication to serving citizens.

Kalonzo highlighted that his experience in both government and political leadership gives him a unique perspective on Kenya’s challenges and opportunities.

“I have served in many capacities over the years, and each role has taught me the importance of listening to citizens, building consensus, and delivering results that improve people’s lives,” he said.

He added that the 2027 elections offer a chance to bring forward ideas and policies that can strengthen the country and ensure development reaches every Kenyan.

The Wiper leader stressed that leadership is not just about winning elections but about responsibility, integrity, and accountability. “Elections are about presenting a vision that benefits all Kenyans,” he said.

“It’s about creating opportunities, improving services, and making sure that every citizen feels included in the country’s progress.”

Supporters have welcomed Kalonzo’s announcement, saying it brings clarity to the political landscape and allows citizens to engage early with the issues he plans to champion.

By confirming his intention to run, he hopes to inspire dialogue on important matters like economic growth, education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.

Kalonzo also pointed to his track record as proof of his dedication to service. Over the years, he has been involved in initiatives aimed at enhancing national unity, boosting development in marginalized areas, and promoting democratic values.

“My public record speaks for itself,” he reiterated. “I have always prioritized the people and the country in my decisions and actions.”

Political analysts say that early declarations like Kalonzo’s are becoming common in Kenya as leaders aim to outline their vision and build support ahead of elections.

Early engagement allows candidates to connect with citizens, understand their needs, and present realistic solutions.
