They urged voters to unite behind Tubi, saying his leadership would bring development and stronger links between the constituency and the national government.
Speaking to locals, Mohamed Liban said Isiolo South needs a leader who understands both the challenges of the people and the workings of government.
He described Tubi as a focused and capable candidate who can effectively push the region’s development agenda.
Liban added that electing a leader aligned with the ruling party would make it easier to attract national projects and resources.
Nuh Ibrahim echoed these remarks, saying Isiolo South has for years lagged behind in key areas such as youth empowerment, sports infrastructure, and job opportunities.
He said Tubi has shown interest in supporting young people and creating spaces for talent development.
According to Ibrahim, the by-election offers residents a chance to choose a leader who will speak for the youth and ensure they benefit from government programs.
NGEC Chairperson Rehema Jaldesa focused her message on unity and inclusion.
She urged women and marginalized groups to take part in the election and support a candidate who values equality.
Jaldesa said Tubi has demonstrated respect for women’s leadership and understands the need for fair representation in decision-making.
She encouraged voters to see the election as an opportunity to bring inclusive leadership to Isiolo South.
Residents who attended the meetings said the presence of senior officials had energized the campaign.
Many noted that such support signals confidence in Tubi’s ability to deliver.
