According to the MP, such leaders do not have the authority to remove someone who holds office legally.
He insisted that leadership positions must be handled according to the law and established procedures.
Babu maintained that Sifuna earned his position through a lawful process and continues to serve the public as expected.
He argued that any move to push him out without following proper legal channels would go against democratic principles.
The legislator warned that allowing such actions would set a dangerous example that could undermine leadership structures and political fairness in the country.
The Embakasi East MP also defended Sifuna’s record, saying the senator has remained vocal on matters affecting ordinary citizens.
According to Babu, Sifuna has consistently raised concerns about the struggles faced by vulnerable groups in society.
He noted that both of them have spoken out about the need to create job opportunities for young people, many of whom continue to face unemployment despite completing their education.
Babu said the youth form a large percentage of Kenya’s population and deserve better support from the government and political leaders.
He explained that leaders who speak out about youth unemployment should be supported rather than criticised.
In his view, Sifuna has been among the few leaders willing to challenge policies that do not benefit young people.
The MP also highlighted the rising cost of living as another issue Sifuna has been addressing.
He said many Kenyans are struggling to afford basic needs such as food, transport, healthcare, and education.
Babu argued that leaders have a responsibility to speak about these challenges and push for policies that ease the burden on citizens.
According to Babu, standing up for the less privileged should not be treated as a mistake.
He insisted that leaders are elected to represent the voices of ordinary people, especially those who feel unheard.
He said Sifuna’s efforts to highlight economic hardships facing Kenyans show commitment to public service rather than political rebellion.
The legislator further stated that political disagreements should be handled through dialogue and respect for the law.
He warned against using power struggles or internal conflicts to silence leaders who speak openly about national challenges.
Babu said such actions could discourage leaders from speaking honestly about issues affecting citizens.
Despite the ongoing tensions, Babu expressed confidence in Sifuna’s leadership abilities.
He described the senator as a fearless leader who is not afraid to raise difficult conversations.
He also urged political leaders to focus on working together to solve problems facing the country instead of engaging in unnecessary conflicts.
