Advocate Joshua Nyamori has weighed in on the ongoing political developments surrounding Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, warning that the senator could face serious challenges rebuilding his political career if he continues on his current path.

Nyamori expressed concern that Sifuna’s recent political decisions may have long-term consequences that could take years to overcome.

Speaking on the matter, Nyamori said he does not believe Sifuna will easily recover politically in the coming years.

According to the lawyer, politics requires careful planning, patience, and strong alliances, and any move that weakens these foundations can negatively affect a leader’s future.

He explained that once a politician loses strong backing and support from key political structures, rebuilding trust and influence becomes very difficult.

Nyamori advised Sifuna to take time to reflect on his political journey and reconnect with his core values and leadership goals.

He said humility plays an important role in leadership, especially during challenging times.

According to him, strong leaders often succeed because they are willing to step back, listen, and learn from their experiences rather than rushing into confrontations.

The advocate also cautioned Sifuna against listening to members of rival political parties who may be encouraging him to escalate political fights.

Nyamori warned that such advice may not be given with Sifuna’s best interests at heart.

He explained that politicians from opposing sides may sometimes support actions that appear bold but could eventually harm a leader’s reputation and stability.

Nyamori said political battles should be handled with wisdom and strategy rather than emotions or external pressure.

He stressed that leaders must carefully examine who is advising them and whether such advice supports their long-term growth or simply creates temporary attention.

He further pointed out that Kenyan politics can be unpredictable and highly competitive.

According to Nyamori, leaders who rush into conflicts without building strong support systems often struggle to regain public confidence.

He noted that political survival depends not only on popularity but also on maintaining strong relationships with supporters, party members, and the general public.

Nyamori also emphasised the importance of unity in the current political climate. He said the country is facing several economic and social challenges that require leaders to work together and focus on development.

Issues such as unemployment, high cost of living, and access to essential services remain major concerns for many Kenyans.

He argued that leaders who focus more on personal political struggles risk losing public support because citizens are more interested in solutions to their daily challenges.

Despite his concerns, Nyamori acknowledged Sifuna’s abilities as a leader and communicator.

He described him as a talented politician who has the potential to influence national conversations and contribute to policy discussions.

However, he insisted that political strength must be supported by wise decision-making and strong partnerships.
