Kenyan woman identified as Choice has come forward to share her side of the story after appearing in a viral video reportedly filmed by a Russian man.

Speaking during an open interview with 2mbili, Choice expressed fear, pressure, and concern over how her private life has become a subject of public discussion.

During the conversation aired on Monday, February 16, 2026, Choice admitted that she had been in a romantic relationship with the man.

She revealed that they had shared intimate moments but said she is worried about whether those moments may have been secretly recorded without her consent

She said the situation has caused her emotional stress, explaining that the attention and speculation surrounding the viral video have been overwhelming.

Choice openly shared her fears, saying she hopes that none of their private moments were captured or stored on video.

She explained that the thought of such content possibly existing has placed her under intense pressure.

According to her, the fear of private moments becoming public has affected her peace of mind and personal life.

She also addressed claimsabout her relationship with the foreign national, clarifying that she always prioritized her safety and personal boundaries.

Choice stated that she never engaged in intimate activity without protection.

She explained that she was careful in her decisions and insisted that she would never risk her health or well-being in such situations.

According to her, safety was always a priority, and she wanted to correct what she described as misleading assumptions circulating online.

Choice further revealed that when she first met the man, she believed he was mainly involved in content creation and online streaming.

She explained that much of their interaction revolved around filming content, which she thought was part of his professional work.

According to her, she believed the filming activities were normal for someone working in digital media and online entertainment.

She disclosed that their relationship developed over time and that they communicated regularly before he travelled to Kenya to meet her.

Choice said she trusted his explanation that he travelled globally while working as a content creator.

She added that her understanding of his career influenced her decision to continue interacting with him, as she believed most of the filming taking place was related to his job.

The viral video has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many Kenyans debating issues of privacy, consent, and safety in relationships involving online personalities and foreign visitors.

Some online users have expressed sympathy for Choice, urging people to avoid spreading rumours or sharing unverified content that could harm her reputation.

Others have called for awareness about personal safety and caution when dealing with strangers, especially in situations involving filming or online content creation.

Experts on digital safety often warn that people should clearly understand how recorded content may be used before agreeing to be filmed.

They emphasize the importance of consent and mutual understanding when participating in any form of recorded material.
