The has failed in its attempt to obtain a court order allowing officers to search the home of former Cabinet Secretary .

The development comes as Tuju speaks out about the impact of his recent arrest on his family, especially his children.

In court, investigators had sought permission to access Tuju’s residence, arguing that the search was necessary for their ongoing inquiries.

However, the request was not granted, dealing a setback to the agency’s efforts in the case.

Speaking after the court session, Tuju expressed deep concern about the well-being of his children, claiming they were left shaken after witnessing his arrest.

He described the incident as distressing, saying police officers handled him roughly in front of his family.

According to Tuju, the situation had a serious effect on his daughter, who had to be rushed to hospital later that night.

He said she was deeply traumatized by the events and only returned home early the following morning.

He added that she is currently under medication as she recovers from the shock.

“My children saw everything. They were very disturbed. My daughter was especially affected and had to be hospitalized,” he said.

Tuju questioned why authorities were pushing to gain access to his home, arguing that such actions could worsen the situation for his children.

He warned that another forced entry, especially if carried out in a similar manner, would only increase their fear and anxiety.

He also revealed that he is now considering moving his children to a different location to shield them from further distress.

He said the early morning raid at his home had already created a sense of fear and insecurity within his family.

“They want court orders to break into my house, but this will only traumatize my children more. I don’t understand why my family is being dragged into this,” he said.

Tuju further raised concerns about his personal safety, saying he fears that if officers gain access to his home in his absence, they could study his security arrangements.

He insisted that he has a right to protect himself and his household from what he described as hostile actions.

At the same time, Tuju took issue with remarks attributed to Interior Cabinet Secretary .

He questioned why the government would claim to have intelligence touching on his private life, including matters related to his bedroom.

“Let them bring that evidence to court if it exists,” Tuju said, dismissing the claims and demanding transparency.
