Situation Police at Machakos County Offices After Protest Led by Sammy Kioko

Police officers were deployed at the entrance of Machakos County headquarters following a protest staged by comedian Sammy Kioko and a group of youths seeking an audience with the county’s Chief Officer for Finance.

The group reportedly marched to the county offices to present their concerns, but were met with a heavy police presence that restricted access to the premises. 

Officers stood guard at the entrance as tensions rose, with the demonstrators insisting on being allowedto meet the finance official.
