Meru School Principal Mwenda Rutere has praised Abdallah Mohamed, a remarkable student who scored straight As in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), highlighting his resilience and dedication despite personal challenges.

Abdallah achieved this outstanding result while studying on a scholarship, having lost his father during his early school years.

Speaking after congratulating Abdallah, Principal Rutere said the student’s success is a testament to hard work, discipline, and determination.

He noted that Abdallah’s journey shows that personal circumstances, no matter how difficult, do not have to limit academic achievement when supported by a caring school environment.

“Abdallah is an inspiration to all our students,” Rutere said. “He has shown that commitment and focus can overcome even the most difficult situations. We are proud to celebrate his success.”

Abdallah, who has been at Meru School on a full scholarship, credited his achievement to the support he received from teachers, mentors, and school staff who guided him through his studies and encouraged him during challenging times.

He also praised his fellow students for creating a motivating learning environment.

The school principal explained that Meru School has a strong tradition of supporting vulnerable students through bursaries and scholarships.

This system ensures that talented students, regardless of their financial situation, can access quality education and reach their full potential.

According to Rutere, the school carefully identifies students with both need and potential and provides them with resources, mentoring, and guidance to help them succeed academically.

Abdallah’s story has resonated with the wider community, inspiring parents, students, and educators alike.

Many have lauded the school’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing opportunities for bright but underprivileged students.
