Siyad has expressed deep sorrow following the tragic deaths of Chief Abdi Gani Owl and a dedicated teacher in Hulugho, describing the incident as a painful loss to the entire community.

Speaking in an emotional message, she said both victims were public servants who worked tirelessly to serve the people and bring stability to the area.

“I send my condolences to the families of Chief Abdi Gani Owl and the dedicated teacher, both of whom served the Hulugho community with unwavering commitment,” Siyad said.

She noted that Chief Gani was known for his calm leadership and close connection with residents, often putting himself at risk to protect peace and resolve conflicts.

She also paid tribute to the teacher, saying educators are the backbone of society.

According to Siyad, the teacher’s dedication went beyond the classroom, touching the lives of children and families who looked to education as a path to a better future. Losing such a person, she said, leaves a deep gap that will not be easy to fill.

Siyad strongly condemned the violence that led to their deaths, calling it senseless and unacceptable. “We condemn this senseless violence and stand united in support of all affected,” she said.

She urged the community to remain united during this difficult period and not allow fear or anger to divide them.

In her message, Siyad offered prayers for the departed and comfort for those mourning.

“May Chief Gani rest in Jannatul Firdaus, and may the teacher’s family find strength and peace,” she added.

Her words reflected both grief and hope as she called on the community to support the affected families.
