President William Ruto has sent a message of condolence to his friend, the Chair of KeRRA and UDA Elections Board, Anthony Mwaura, and his family following the passing of his mother, Consolata Wanjiru Mwaura.

In his message, the President described Mama Wanjiru as a remarkable leader whose life was defined by service, compassion, and dedication to her community.

He noted that her influence extended far beyond her immediate circle, as she mentored many and inspired countless others through her actions and values.

“Mama Wanjiru will be remembered for her remarkable leadership, her deep love for her community, and her generosity,” Ruto said.

He added that her legacy is reflected in the many lives she touched through her wisdom, kindness, and selfless service.

According to the President, she stood out as a guiding figure whose commitment to uplifting others made a lasting impact.

The Head of State acknowledged the pain of losing a loved one, especially a parent, and expressed solidarity with the family during this difficult period.

He assured them that they are not alone in their grief, noting that the nation joins them in mourning a woman who gave so much to society.

“At this painful time, we stand with you in grief and prayer, asking God to grant you strength and comfort,” he said.

Ruto described Mama Wanjiru as a pillar of strength whose values and teachings will continue to guide her family and community even in her absence.

He said her life serves as an example of humility, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of others.

He also recognised the role she played in shaping those around her, particularly her family, noting that her influence will live on through the generations she nurtured and the principles she instilled.

The President extended his sympathies to Anthony Mwaura, his relatives, and all those who knew and respected Mama Wanjiru, urging them to draw strength from her legacy and the memories they shared.
