Party officials say the attacks are part of a coordinated effort to shift public attention away from pressing national issues, including economic hardship, rising corruption, overtaxation, and poor governance.
In a statement, Jubilee emphasized that the party has always respected democratic principles and has never engaged in destabilising rival political formations.
Instead, it said its focus remains on constructive politics and serving the people of Kenya.
The party condemned what it described as political thuggery, falsehoods, and smear campaigns aimed at undermining the credibility of its leadership.
The party highlighted that former President Kenyatta has remained committed to the rule of law and national unity.
“Attempts to turn our leader into a target for political attacks will not succeed,” the statement read.
Jubilee officials stressed that the former President’s record speaks for itself, pointing to his contributions to Kenya’s economic development, infrastructure, and governance reforms during his tenure.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, Jubilee outlined plans to strengthen the party through nationwide membership recruitment and transparent engagement with Kenyans.
The party intends to deepen its connection with citizens, listening to their concerns and providing practical solutions to national challenges.
Jubilee also said it will continue building strategic alliances based on shared values, good governance, and accountability.
By fostering collaboration with like-minded partners, the party believes it can play a central role in shaping Kenya’s political future while promoting stability and democratic integrity.
