Manu Chandaria Foundation has teamed up with the Administration Police Service (APS) to strengthen support for officers living with disabilities.

The partnership was announced as a meaningful step towards promoting dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunities within the police force.

Under the collaboration, the foundation donated 20 wheelchairs to APS.

The gesture is part of a broader effort to ensure that officers who have disabilities are not left behind and can continue to serve with respect and support.

During the handover, officials from both the foundation and the police service highlighted the importance of caring for officers who face physical challenges.

They said the donation reflects a shared commitment to improving the well-being of all police personnel, regardless of their physical condition.

The wheelchairs will be distributed to officers who need them most, enabling them to move more freely and carry out their daily activities with greater independence.

This support is expected to make a significant difference in the lives of the recipients and their families.

Representatives from the Manu Chandaria Foundation emphasized that the donation is driven by the belief that every person deserves dignity and respect.

They said society owes a great deal to the men and women who serve in the police force, and it is important to show appreciation through meaningful support.

The foundation also noted that the partnership is part of a wider focus on social responsibility and community support.

By helping police officers with disabilities, the foundation aims to encourage other organizations to join in efforts that promote inclusion and support for vulnerable groups.

APS leaders thanked the foundation for the generous donation, saying it will boost morale among officers and improve their quality of life.

They said the support comes at a time when the police service is working to build a more inclusive and caring workplace for all staff.
