Jubilee Party Deputy Leader Fred Matiang’i has clarified that the recent changes and reorganisation within the party are not connected to any misconduct or poor performance by its leaders.

Instead, he said the move is part of a deliberate effort to strengthen the party’s structure and prepare it for future political challenges.

Speaking in a calm and firm tone, Matiang’i explained that political parties often undergo changes to remain relevant and effective.

He said Jubilee is not making adjustments because of wrongdoing, but because the party is looking to improve its organisation and build a stronger team.

“The changes and reorganisation of the party have nothing to do with any misconduct or performance-related issues,” Matiang’i said. “We are strengthening ourselves.”

According to him, the party is focused on rebuilding and preparing for the future.

He noted that Jubilee has been through a period of shifting political alliances and changing national dynamics, and it is now time to ensure that the party remains united and well-managed.

The reorganisation, he said, will help the party coordinate better and respond more effectively to the needs of its members.

Matiang’i also emphasized that the new leadership structure will promote teamwork and clearer roles.

He said the party wants to make sure that responsibilities are well distributed so that everyone can contribute to Jubilee’s growth.

He added that the party leadership is committed to working closely with members across the country to rebuild trust and strengthen support.

He urged party members and the public not to read too much into the changes. Instead, he said, they should see the move as a positive step towards renewal.

He noted that political parties must evolve over time, and Jubilee is simply adjusting to stay relevant in the current political landscape.
